Just in from our Superintendent Rev Jackie Case:

Dear All
Good news! I have received a letter saying that the Scrutiny Panel have accepted our Probationer Application. The allocation of probationers takes place 4th & 5th Jan, and we should hear via John Hellyer soon after that. So we need to arrange a visit in 2nd or 3rd week of January, I assume. I know that I have to go up to Queens to meet him or her, but I’m not sure whether it’s before or after the Circuit visit.
Having had this good news we still need to be cautious. As with all such processes, we should be aware that there still could be difficulties and changes in the allocation of a Probationer but at this moment in time we do not have to go through the traumatic experiences of Stationing - yet again! Graham.
