Leprosy Mission Concert

Sandhurst and Yateley Methodist Church

The next concert in aid of the Leprosy Mission will be held on Saturday, 4th February 2012, starting at 7pm in the church. This has become our main fund-raising event for the charity, so please make a note in your diaries and make every effort to support the charity and the musicians taking part. We are hoping that, like last year, the charity's representative for the South East region will be able to come and give us a first-hand update on the charity's work, as well as encourage us to be generous with our donations to the retiring collection!

As usual, there is an open invitation to anyone to take part playing one or two pieces, either in a small group or as a soloist. Over the years that this has been running, we have seen how the younger musicians have become more confident about performing; if you have a hidden talent or if you've just been learning for a short time and are a bit apprehensive about taking the stage, then our friendly audience makes this the ideal venue for your debut! Speak to me if you are interested - we can generally arrange for an accompanist or we could team you up with another player if you prefer.
