Alpha Course

What is the point of life?

What happens when we die?

What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?

How do we deal with guilt?

If you would like to explore any of these questions, then Alpha is for you.

What is Alpha For?

Anyone wanting to find out more about the Christian faith.

Learning and laughter.

People meeting together.

Helping one another.

Ask anything.

The Alpha course attempts to give a clear presentation of the Christian faith and what it means to have faith. Church folk and those outside the church have found this a real challenge, and it has made a huge contribution to church growth in this country.

What happens at Alpha?

Each week there is a short talk, followed by time in smaller groups for everyone to discuss any issues or questions they have, giving them an opportunity to learn together.

What will it cost?

There is no charge for the Alpha Course.

When and where?

The Alpha course will meet at Sandhurst and Yateley Methodist Church every week for eight weeks starting on Sunday 25th May at 6.30pm. (Sunday Evening worship will therefore concentrate on this series until Sunday 13th July.)

All are welcome to attend. So why not come along, and invite your friends to explore the claims of Christ.

If you would like to join in, please e-mail Rev Phil Thomas with your name, address and telephone number or post your details to Rev Phil Thomas, Sandhurst and Yateley Methodist Church, Scotland Hill, Sandhurst. If you have any questions, please contact Phil on 01276 507376 (home) or 07939 573070 (mobile).
