After much planning our special celebration and relaunch weekend finally arrived and what a great weekend it was, full of joy, fellowship and fun.

The Flower Festival on the Saturday and Sunday, brought many people into our church and with a steady flow from start to finish, it was nice to see so many new faces. Our church looked stunning with so many beautiful, thought provoking arrangements. The accompanying music from our organists, choir, Trevor and Phil with his impromptu singing!! throughout Saturday added to a fantastic atmosphere in the church. Most people visiting the flower festival then looked around the stands provided by the different groups in our church (Stewards, Drama, Network, Club 15, Choir, Junior Church, Housegroups, Fairtrade and the Brownies) while enjoying some of Diane’s cake!

Our celebration service on Sunday was a very joyful occasion, with us singing the top 5 hymns voted for by the church. Revd. Alan Costello took part in our service as did Jean Bettison, the Mayor of Sandhurst and Peter Armstrong, the Mayor of Yateley. The service finished with both Mayors unveiling our new sign and Phil dedicating it. Our celebration weekend ended with a wonderful lunch provided by Diane Knight which was enjoyed by over 70 people.
